Forage & Dine at Scarlet Wines
Scarlet Wines in Lelant is hosting it’s first foraging event on Friday 20th September. Places are still available – call 01736 753696 to find out more. The cost is just £40 for the expert-guided walk, lots of dishes to try, and accompanying wines.
Leaving in the early evening, ecologist and foraging expert Caroline Davey of Fat Hen will lead a group along a carefully chosen route near the estuary, searching for seasonal edibles.
Returning to the restaurant and wine bar to warm by the wood burner, a specially designed foraging menu will be served reflecting an individual style. Various dishes from small nibbles to large plates designed for sharing in the style of tapas will all revolve around the foraged ingredients discovered that day.
Menu as follows:

Watercress, Nettle & Chorizo Frittata with a Black Mustard Pesto
