Krowji Open Studios Report – Dec 2010
Krowji Studios in Redruth is an eclectic hive of artists studios and home to The Melting Pot Café, mesmerisingly decorated with chopsticks, teaspoons and dolls heads. There are Open Studios events at Christmas and in the spring as part of the Cornwall Open Studios season.

“Last weekend, I decided to opt out of the private view circus, and took a trip instead to the Krowji Christmas Open Studios. Part of the National Federation of Artists’ Studio Providers, Krowji is Cornwall’s most exciting and dynamic creative centre. The Old Grammar School in Redruth, despite its fragile dilapidation in some parts, provides studio space for jewellers, photographers, sculptors, web designers, furniture makers, painters, performance and textile artists at the forefront of Cornwall’s creative thrust.”
