Feast on the finest local seafood at The Tolcarne this summer!

We recently visited the Tolcarne Inn in Newlyn Harbour to capture some shots of their delicious summer dishes and takeaway treats. We were lucky enough to pick the perfect day for alfresco dining, and thoroughly enjoyed sampling some of the freshest seafood Cornwall has to offer.

This acclaimed maritime inn is now open seven days a week serving lunch and dinner. Booking is recommended, or you can always take a chance on a last minute table on the sunny terrace.

Every day during July & August (though not during inclement weather) Ben and the team are also serving a simple selection of takeaway food and drink, 12 – 6pm, from their little hatch on the terrace. Expect freshly-shucked oysters, crab sandwiches, and homemade ice cream – the perfect takeaway treats for wandering along the promenade or finding a spot on Newlyn Green!
